Also known as a New Hampshire Certificate of Existence, a
New Hampshire Certificate of Status or a New Hampshire Certificate of Authority, the New Hampshire Good Standing
Certificate is a one page document provided by the New Hampshire Secretary of State and is conclusive
evidence of the existence of your New Hampshire Corporation or New Hampshire LLC. In most cases a New Hampshire Certificate of Good Standing
can be valid up to three months.
To obtain a New Hampshire Good Standing Certificate
(New Hampshire Certificate of Existence), your company must
be registered as a legal entity with the New Hampshire Secretary of State, i.e., your company is in existence
in the state of New Hampshire, and cannot be in default of New Hampshire corporate rules, or suspended by the state of New Hampshire.

Foreign Qualifications

Many companies require a New Hampshire Good Standing Certificate (New Hampshire Certificate of Existence) to qualify as a
"Foreign Corporation" in a state other than New Hampshire.
A Foreign Corporation is a corporation that is registered in one state and has the Authority to do business in another state.
For example, a corporation registered in the state of California that plans to do business in the state of New Hampshire is a "Foreign Corporation"
in the state of New Hampshire.

Most states require you to register as a Foreign Corporation in order to do business in their state.
In order to register as a Foreign Corporation, you must prove that you are registered in another state as a domestic
