Also known as an Arkansas Certificate of Existence, an
Arkansas Certificate of Status or an Arkansas Certificate of Authority, the Arkansas Good Standing
Certificate is a one page document provided by the Arkansas Secretary of State and is conclusive
evidence of the existence of your Arkansas Corporation or Arkansas LLC. In most cases an Arkansas Certificate of Good Standing
can be valid up to three months.
To obtain an Arkansas Good Standing Certificate
(Arkansas Certificate of Existence), your company must
be registered as a legal entity with the Arkansas Secretary of State, i.e., your company is in existence
in the state of Arkansas, and cannot be in default of Arkansas corporate rules, or suspended by the state of Arkansas.

Foreign Qualifications

"Foreign Corporation" in a state other than Arkansas.
A Foreign Corporation is a corporation that is registered in one state and has the Authority to do business in another state.
For example, a corporation registered in the state of California that plans to do business in the state of Arkansas is a "Foreign Corporation"
in the state of Arkansas.

Most states require you to register as a Foreign Corporation in order to do business in their state.
In order to register as a Foreign Corporation, you must prove that you are registered in another state as a domestic
