Normal processing time for a new Wisconsin Nonprofit is 2-3 business days. The Wisconsin Secretary of State offers expedited service for all new Wisconsin Nonprofit Corporation filings. For an additional $25 the Secretary of State will process your new Wisconsin Nonprofit Corporation application by the close of the business day following that on which your new Wisconsin Nomprofit Corporation application is received.

Every Wisconsin Nonprofit is required to have an address within the state of Wisconsin where official and legal correspondence can be delivered.  The individual or company that is registered with the state of Wisconsin to receive all correspondence on behalf of the Nonprofit is called a Registered Agent.
