Business Taxes Status Letter and is issued by the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services.

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services issues Business Taxes Status Letters (also known as a Letters of Good Standing) to businesses that request one provided certain conditions or criteria are satisfied.
If the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services determines if it is appropriate to issue a Business Taxes Status Letter, the Tax
Status letter will contain the following information about a business as of the date the Tax Status letter is issued:
- The tax type or types for which the business is registered with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services
- The frequency the business is required to file tax returns, such as monthly, quarterly, or annually, for all Connecticut taxes for which the business is registered with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services
- The last return received and processed by the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services for each tax type for which the business is registered
- Delinquent tax returns, if any
- Any extensions granted for filing tax returns
- Outstanding accounts receivable balances or tax liabilities the business owes the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services
